M.N. Almouie M.D., F.A.A.P.

Dr. Almouie has been in practice for over 20 years. He received his medical degree from Tishreen University College of Medicine, Lattakia, Syria and completed his residency in Pediatrics at Driscoll Childrens Hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas. Dr. Almouie is board certified through the American Board of Pediatrics and is also a Fellow of the American Board of Pediatrics. His professional interests include Asthma and Allergy, Dermatology and Alternative Medicine.  He and his wife share five beautiful children and enjoy traveling and nature.

Victor Diaz de Leon, M.D., F.A.A.P.

Dr. Diaz de Leon has been practicing Pediatrics for the last 30 years. Before then, he was a practicing Registered Pharmacist for about ten years. Dr. Diaz de Leon is a veteran of the U. S. Army. He was honorably discharged in 1980 with the rank of Captain. Dr. Diaz de Leon has been married to his lovely high school sweetheart for the past 44 years and calls her his BEST accomplishment. He and his wife share three children and four fantastic grandchildren. On his down time he enjoys riding his Harley down the back roads, as well woodworking and playing a round of golf.

Karen A. Ryan-Philpott, M.D., F.A.A.P.

Dr. Ryan-Philpott has been practicing pediatrics for over 20 years in the United States Air Force. She retired as a Colonel with 25 years of service in July 2018. Her final military job was to serve as primary consultant to the Air Force Surgeon General for pediatric and women’s health issues; in this role, she provided subject matter expertise on the quality of care for 350 Air Force providers at 76 clinics and hospitals around the world. During her military career, she also worked as a Chief Medical Officer for 8 years, influencing patient safety and risk management at the hospital, Air Force, and Defense Health Agency levels. Her medical degree was obtained at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD, and she completed a pediatric residency at David Grant Medical Center, Travis Air Force Base, CA. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Ryan-Philpott’s wonderful family, husband and 3 children, have followed her all over the country with the military. They have now settled in Helotes, TX, to enjoy all the activities and adventures that this state has to offer.
